This report examines the role of the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources in the management of a cross border broadband project. The report is the result of a co-ordinated examination between the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General and the Northern Ireland Audit Office.

This is a report on the three energy schemes for the Residential Sector were reviewed in order to assess whether the financial assistance provided had been properly controlled and how the schemes were administered including the output and performance under each scheme and the extent to which the schemes had been evaluated.
